Center for the Book Logo Design

While working at the Library of Congress, I was asked to create a logo for their new Center for the Book, which promotes reading, libraries and literacy through the Library of Congress and its community of 56 Affiliated Centers across the country. The goal was to create a logo that was unique and compelling but also instantly recognizable as a part of the LOC family. I include this project to show the variety of formal solutions that can be found around the concept of “book.”
